This charming llittle boy arrived at the Clubfoot Casting Unit on Saturday  April 14, 2012.  Austin is now very active and confident. He knows his routine and co-operates well with the Carers and other children. When he sees the Supervisor bringing the vitamins each morning, he is the first to crawl over to her, waiting for his. He understands 'time out' and will sit on the mat and co-operate if he's done the wrong thing. He will communicate his needs to the Carers. For example when he has a dirty diaper and is not happy, they ask him what is wrong and he will wiggle his bottom. He is very mobile and is starting to pull himself up on furniture now. We will be starting his casting in the next few weeks, so he can get mobile with corrected feet.
