Are you interested in making miracles happen for orphaned children? Do you have just a bit of spare time? We have compiled some general information about hosting an event that benefits the children under the care of An Orphan’s Wish. The events mentioned here are a jumping off point. We hope you will let your imagination soar and will create an event that best meets the needs of the community where it will take place. Once you decide which event best meets your needs, we will be there to support you with: digital files, event literature, videos and more. Birthday Celebrations & Donations
Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! This is a special way for you or your child to celebrate your special day, but at the same time ensure that our kids at House of Love have their special days for years to come! Instead of asking for traditional birthday presents the birthday boy/girl can request that donations be made to An Orphan’s Wish. This special donation takes little of your time and we are here to support you in various ways. An Orphan’s Wish will send you: a personalized birthday card for the birthday boy/girl, digital files so that your guests can leave with a personal thank you from An Orphan’s Wish and a tracking form so that we can properly thank your guests. Lemonade or Hot Cocoa Stand
Before we know it the seasons will turn and lemonade stands will be popping up throughout the neighborhood! When the kids ask to set one up, why not take the chance to spread some love to An Orphan’s Wish as well! Bring the table, chairs and sugary goodness to your lemonade stand, but let customers know that ALL or PART of your profits will go directly to An Orphan’s Wish.
